Hello world, Ana here!

I've been using this greeting on IheartParis Instagram feed for such a long time, that I'll be funny to start getting used to #bowwow I'm Boo the Poodle :)

But really, I can't believe that this moment is finally here and I'm really launching my very own website and brand! Welcome to TheFlyingPoodle Blog, the place I've created to share with you the amazing wedding moments I get to be a part of as I launch a Destination Weddings photography part of IheartParis. The name is inspired by the travels of our little fluff ball Boo, who has traveled with us from Costa Rica through Spain to Austria, visited Russia, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Czech Republic, and is now enjoying his travels with us through his new home country France. For us Boo has become the symbol of our marriage because we have adopted him when he was 4 months old on the 1st month anniversary of our wedding! So when we came up with the idea to separate our Lifestyle and Commercial Photography work from the Weddings I immediately thought that he would be my "something white, something fluffy, something love" to become the mascot of the photography I capture for my brides from all over the world.

With this we took the leap of faith and I no longer photograph for IheartParis but only doing the retouch of the photos for it, and now I'll be photographing only Weddings, Destination Weddings, Elopements and Boudoir shoots. Fede will join me as my second shooter and hopefully soon as our videographer too! Big plans, but as my mom always says "dream big, or come back home" :)

And now a few words about the shoot I chose for this first blog post. I take my job very seriously (I have a PhD in Immunology to prove how big of a nerd I am), so I have been taking Master Classes from the photographers whose style I love. This particular set of styled Paris Elopement photos was done during last spring's master class of Volodymyr Ivash. It was recently featured on FlyAwayBride blog under IheartParis brand that I'm a part of. The beautiful wedding dress on the bride is by Parisian designer Aurélia Hoang. The flower diadem and bridal bouquet is by Les Fleurs de Pauline. Hair and make-up of the bride by Katia Ren. Pink cherry blossoms - courtesy of spring in Paris right by the side of Notre Dame Cathedral. The second location in the spacious loft was found on Airbnb. Hope you like the set I've come up with for you!

xoxo,
