Before moving to Paris some 3 years ago I used to work mostly as a family photographer in Vienna, Austria. Lovestories, touristic shoots and bloggers back then were not common for that market, and so it was a lot of newborn and family playtimes in front of my camera. Being in Paris I started missing that time I got to spend surrounded by kids, catching reportage-like shots (it's impossible to get a posed shot with babies!), and simply not caring whether the Eiffel Tower is visible in a shot or not.
This family session was done in maybe 30 minutes all in one spot by the lake in Boulogne forest. Meet Léo and Ksenia Skachkov, their beautiful daughter Chloé and a new addition to their clan - Zackary. Tiny Zackary is only 1 week old here, so we didn't want to bother him too much, besides aren't newborns the cutest when they are sleeping like little angels! Léo is a good friend and a great photographer from Lyon, France, working throughout the whole country. You can check our his work HERE or follow him on INSTAGRAM.
For me it's also a very personal shoot, because it happened on the day that Federico and I have created a new life of our own (or at least that's what the doctor says). I choose to think it's true because there is this Russian tradition if you want to have a baby, put something of yours into the baby trolley and push it around for some time and you will literally roll yourself a baby (in the trolley of course :)) in the future. So I did and it worked for me!
